De ansvariga för Zheng Fangyings död

Zheng Fangying var från stadsdelen Tanfang i Qingzhou, Weifangdistriktet i Shandong-provinsen. Den 21 december 2001 blev hon slagen och senare arresterad för att hon hade vecklat ut en banderoll på Himmelska Fridens Torg. Zheng vägrade dock att uppge sitt namn eller sin adress. Under tiden genomförde hon en 18 dagar lång hungerstrejk.

I rädsla att behöva bära ansvar för följderna av hennes allvarliga tillstånd, sände polisen henne till tågstationen. Då de frågade vart hon ville åka svarade hon ”Jinan”. Efter att ha tagit sig av tåget på Jinans station kollapsade Zheng som en följd av de allvarliga skadorna hon tillfogats. En godhjärtad person hjälpte henne att komma till sitt hem. Hon avled dock tre dagar senare.
