Två Falun Gong-utövare är i allvarlig fara på grund av förlängt kvarhållande av 610-Byrån och fängelset i Daqing

Cheng Qiaoyun är Falun Gong-utövare och bor i staden Daqing i Heilongjiangprovinsen. Hon dömdes illegalt till två års fängelse enbart på grund av att hon utövade Falun Gong. Den 27 maj 2004 var hennes strafftid slut och enligt lagen skulle hon då ha släppts fri. Men hon nekades tillstånd för sin frigivning av Zhang Guojun och Liu Xiping, båda tjänstemän på 610-Byrån (1) i Daqing, tillsammans med Xiuen och Liu Xinglin, sekreterare i kommunistpartiet i Jiulongbolaget, och Zhang Jianguo, direktör på en avdelning i Jiulongbolaget. Istället för att släppa henne förde de henne till Hongweixings hjärntvättscenter i Daqing. Sedan förflyttade de Cheng till häktet under en period, men senare flyttade de tillbaka henne till hjärntvättscentret. Chengs liv är i allvarlig fara på grund av den förföljelse hon har utstått. Hon skickades till akuten i flera dagar för att få akut vård. Efter att hon lämnat akuten fortsatte myndigheterna att förfölja henne som de gjort innan. Det har nu gått nästan 50 dagar sedan Cheng Qiaoyun lämnade akuten.

Cheng torterades både fysiskt och psykiskt till den grad att hon kollapsade psykiskt och hon kan nu inte längre gå. Hon har drabbats av sömnlöshet, kan inte tala och hon tycks inte ens märka när hennes mat har smutsats ned av sand. Hennes händer misshandlades av den person som övervakade henne. Nyligen fördes Cheng iväg av polisen och ingen vet nu var hon befinner sig.

Zhang Zhong, en Falun Gong-utövare som bor i Daqing, torterades av Li Fangjie i Daqings fängelse i sådan grad att han blev puckelryggig, vilket gav honom stort lidande. Zhang Zhong kan inte äta någonting och får inte behålla maten i magen. Han har kräkts blod i över ett halvår och han är beroende av intravenösa injektioner för att överleva. Zhang är sängliggande och kan inte röra sig. Hans liv är i allvarlig fara men ändå vägrar fängelset att släppa honom.

Dessa människor, som har behandlats så omänskligt, hade bara en önskan att utöva Falun Gong för att bli bättre människor genom att följa principerna ”Sanning, Godhet, Tålamod”. Enbart på grund av detta har de fått utstå en sådan omänsklig förföljelse. Dessa synder kommer inte tillåtas fortgå så länge till; gott belönas alltid med gott och ont straffas alltid med ont.

Vi kräver att fängelset friger Zhang Zhong och Cheng Qiaoyun omedelbart. Vi ber också alla de godhjärtade människor som läser den här artikeln, samt internationella människorättsorganisationer, att hjälpa till så att de här två Falun Gong-utövarna släpps fria.
